I wanted to do a timeless piece and capture the spirit of the historic course in the painting. Working with historic photographs, I am able to give viewers the sense of what it was like to play the Road Hole, over a hundred years ago.

Artist Bio:

American Impressionist, Allen Lawrence has his studio in Palm Springs, California. Lawrence has been painting landscapes and wildlife for over twenty years. His works are featured in local clubs and galleries across the country. His artwork has been displayed in magazines and licensed for cigar humidors, champagne labels, crystal, and golf apparel.
